This is Me!!

in the flesh, with tears and mixed feelings of confusion
the sky's eyes start to build a floating pain thru time
a snap shot on the eastern winds and you start to receding
as I feel the cracks breaking up your spine with no pity
and this is me !

the shuffle machine absorbs all the little secrets
sliding on the highways and sinking in tragic days
the sun is eclipsed by my worst feelings of beauty
but all the poison wasn't enough to make us stop killing
and this is me !

in the slum we take the ills and the broken quills
I'll let the memory die in an extraordinary lightning
the violence still makes us cry and the children laugh
and on a disconnected feeling we still bleed till death
cause this is me !

the airwaves shake up the bloody body of the night
as a scream curses the silent words of your thoughts
so thru a cracked wall we watch them fall
as the frozen eyes stare at the sky waiting for God to come
and this is me !
